All categories are voted for by our official members. Due to time constraints, voting for the 2024/25 season opened 22 April 2025 and closed 28 April 2025 at 5pm. As a result, any games that took place after 22 April 2025 were not inclued within the voting categories.

Smith joined The Reds last summer and has started life in the WSL with a bang
She has shown incredible strength on the ball and seemingly dances around defenders for fun. Olivia has scored 9 goals across both the league and cup competitions, including a goal in The Reds’ first FA Cup semi-final since 2017.
She was even the scorer of The Reds’ first ever WSL goal at Anfield, something that felt so good she went on to do it two more times!
Smith always gives 100% effort on the pitch and has truly made a name for herself, earning nominations for Barclays WSL Player of the Year and rising star award and winning Liverpool Player of the month a whopping 4 times. Smith was also voted as Players’ Player and Young Player of the Year, too
We hope you’ve got sturdy shelves at home, Liv. Congratulations on a remarkable first season as a Red – we can’t wait to see what the future holds

This game truly had it all, and so it’s no suprise LFCWSC members voted it as the moment of the season.
Interim manager Amber Whiteley accepted the award on behalf of the team.

Performance of the Season
Olivia Smith vs Arsenal (A - FA Cup)
LFCWSC members voted Smith as the very well deserved winner of this award for her performance on the road against Aresnal in the quarter finals of the FA Cup.
Not only did The Reds progress to the semi-finals with a 1-0 victory, but Smith won both ‘Baller of the Round’ and ‘Adobe Women’s FA Cup Player of the Round’ for her performance in the fixture.
This match is one that fans will look always look back on fondly, and the performance from Olivia was just one of many outstanding efforts from our number 11 this season.

Goal of the Season
Marie Hobinger vs Tottenham Hotspur (A)
Take a bow, Marie Höbinger!
LFCWSC members voted Herby as the recipient of Goal of the Season for her inch perfect free kick against Tottenham Hotspur.
There was a lot of tough competition this season, but I think we can all agree we were WOWED when Marie’s set piece rippled the net.
The Reds went on to win the fixture 3-2, when Herby slotted a penalty away to secure all 3 points.

Save of the Season
Rachael Laws vs Manchester United (H – Clinton 38’)
Laws takes home the award for her incredible stop at Anfield when Grace Clinton attempted a long-range shot on goal in the 38th minute.
The game was still 0-0 when Laws leapt to the rescue during a sustained period of pressure from Manchester United.
The Reds went on to win the game 3-1.

Rachel Ellis Inspiration Award
This award is voted for by our younger members (those under 18) and recognises a special player who has inspired them not just on but off the pitch.
Taylor Hinds
LFCWSC junior members are responsible for this award and are tasked with choosing their biggest inspiration of the season, both on and off the pitch.
The Reds vice captain has stepped up as captain multiple times this season. Fans were also incredibly proud of how Taylor handled and spoke out about being subjected to inappropriate comments from a member of the crowd earlier this season. Massive congratulations Taylor, you truly inspire us all.
And to you Andy, thank you for coming along to present the award in honour of your dear Rachel. We know Rachel is proud of you and your strength, as all of us here at LFCWSC are too.
